Bamboo Soap Box

A client wanted distinctive bamboo packaging for a new soap. We designed a clean square box with an inset lip and a decorated lid, and paid particular attention to how it would hold up in a wet bathroom over time.

The design

The soap sits on a slotted insert that lets water drain away, with cut-outs sized for fingers so the user can lift it out easily. The lid seats on an inset lip for a snug, considered fit. It is a simple form, executed with care for the small details that make packaging feel premium.

Material advice and marketing render

Because the box lives in a wet environment, we flagged the long-term durability of the material and suggested an alternative wood or a natural impregnation to protect it. We also rendered the finished product in Blender using procedural textures, giving the client ready-made promotional imagery.

Notable technical detail. The slotted, finger-friendly draining tray is what turns a plain bamboo box into a considered soap product, form following the reality of a wet bathroom shelf.
