Kanum Studio is a design and engineering studio in Slovenia, working with manufacturers, product designers, and consumer brands across the EU and beyond. The work covers CAD engineering, CAM and CNC programming, and photorealistic product rendering. Everything is sold as a package at a fixed quote, never by the hour. Some clients need a single part modelled. Others want the whole path from a rough idea to a finished, manufacturable product. We take on both.
Behind the digital work sits a real CNC and laser workshop. That matters more than it might sound: the honest test of a CAD model is whether the part it produces works. Parts here get designed by someone who already knows how they'll be machined.
We fit best with clients who care about precision: small and medium manufacturers preparing parts for production, product companies that need renders that actually move stock, and design studios looking to widen what they offer without hiring.

Who you'll be working with
I'm a mechatronics engineer, MSc, and I started Kanum because I like the full arc of a product: the geometry on the screen, the toolpath that cuts it, and the finished part you can pick up and weigh in your hand. There's a freedom in design, and each medium tells its own story. And I'm on my way to writing my own.
My background runs across CAD, parametric design, CAM, and rendering. Plenty of studios stop at the file. I wanted one that could also make the thing.
